i've been trying since a long time to stop being gay but i cant, i only get attracted to guys altho a lot of girls are attracted to me specially in university and they'r hot but they dont attract me. This thing is killing me, any advice !!!!!

thx ppl, do u think seeing a doctor, psychatriest or therapest (dunno if i spelled them right) will help me stop being gay??
i have a great gf n she is vergin and thx God she doesnt want to lose it and i guess thats what saved me from her finding out about me coz if she did she'll leave me and everyone will know and i'll be the Insider's subject, im a celeb and thats what scaring me from going to a doctor or telling anyone i dun want reveal myself
hope u'll understand me and help me although it seems there is no solution !!

You are who you are and you can not change that. I think you should seek some counseling so that you can learn to accept yourself for who you are.

if it is true and people are born "gay", and its in your genes to be predisposed to being an alcoholic i still see it as a matter of choice... nothing makes a hetero have sex and cheat, or to have sex out of "wedlock", no more than nothing makes an alcoholic put the bottle to his lips, or someone have relations with the same sex... it sickens me to see how weak some people have become because they feel they cant control their urges... im not aiming this at the origional poster but just making the statement... its obvious you have conflict within yourself in that you seem to want to be attracted to women, but are attracted to men... i suggest you do some real soul searching, maybe meditation or try religion to help you sort your life out... "comming out", is not allways the most liberating thing to do in your current situation... "commin out", can bring about a whole new world of problems and issues with your family, friends, and society in general...

go with it dude. my father likes men, he fought it for a long time.  has actually married. you have to accept yourself for whoever you are. otherwise you will live your life unhappy. be grateful your realizing it soon then later. it took my dad being with tons of women, including my mom, before he knew what he wanted. and now he can be at peace. good luck bro....M
