bump

A couple weeks ago I found a bump on the outside of my vagina, but didn't think much of it.  However it has been a month sence and I'm starting to get worried.  I'm only 16 and still a virgin, I'm too embaressed to talk to my mom about it and I really dont want to go to the doctor.  It isnt ichy, and only hurts a little when I push down on it.  I thought it might be a cyst but it doesn't feel like one.

It sounds like a cyst or an ingrown hair.  If you are a virgin, then it isn't any sort of STD.  Do you shave there?  If so, it is probably an ingrown hair.  It may even have a darkish color in the center of it...that's the hair.  They hurt, but if you get the hair out and whatever fluid is in there, they feel sooooo much better and then they dry right up.
