circumsision

Hey, I was circumsized yesterday and there has been quite a bit of blood coming from the area. Also, near the bottom of the penis there are parts that look purple. I know this may be normal but im a little concerned can anyone help?

okay its been just over five weeks now... i had to have an area of my skin restitched up as it was pouring with blood about two weeks ago. It still looks bruised and has slight pus coming from it. Is there any chance that blood circulation may have been stopped from getting to the top of the penis?

There should not be pus coming from an incision, so I would have that checked by your doctor. It could be an infection. They'll give you anti-biotics for it and you'll be fine..

okay its been two weeks and i think the stitches may be infected. There is quite a lot of puss coming from an area of the penis. Does this mean the stitches are infected?

They say to not have an erection because they want to avoid having the skin stretched/pulled. It's ok if it happens, but just try to not let that happen. Don't purposefully get yourself aroused.

yes, it is normal. It will take you longer to heal from a circumcision than say a baby boy would. You don't have to explain yourself for why you got it done, it is no ones business. And if you think there is a problem, call your urologist. Otherwise just take it easy.

Hi Craig, was your circumcision for medical reasons? I do hope so. I cannot understand how any man would want it by choice and think its healthier when it aint.
I have heard of a guy who had it done for med reasons and wish he hadnt and lost his girlfriend though it, and wants his skin restored hence it doesnt feel the same.
Foreskin is for protection and pleasure for both partners.
