first time

Hey , I'm 16 and I'm got into this serious relationship. I'm still a virgin and I wanted to know what I should do before having sex. Basically planning if I should go to the doctors and ask for birth control or let him wear a condom

Is this something your sure you want to happen and your ready for? Have you given it a lot of thought? There is no rush.. you have your whole life ahead of you. You decide.
Yes, definitely go to the doctor and get on a birth control... theres lots of options to protect against pregnancy. Yes, also have him wear a condom. Do not be afraid to say so. You have that right! If this is a serious relationship and cares for you as much as you think then he'll respect you enough to put that condom on!  Keep us posted. If you have anymore questions at all pls dont hesitate to ask. :)

DO BOTH.  Birth control plus a condom is a guarantee of no unwanted pregnancy, the condom will protect from any STD's.  The idea here is to be on birth control JUST IN CASE the condom breaks or slips off or you just plain forget.  Expect sex to NOT be great the first time.  He will break your hymen, and this can cause pain and some (not a whole lot) of bleeding.  It can take a few goes at it for it to begin to feel good.

This the correct advice. You can enjoy friendship without going to sexual path. You will enjoy more if you do it at the right time.

My advice is to hold off on intercourse.  If this is really a "serious relationship", you can wait.
