frequency of sexual activity

I was wondering what is the normal frequency of having sex??? My boyfriend and I are both 29 and we do not live together but we see each other once every other day! And most of the time he wants to have sex and when we don't have sex he expresses the need for having sex! And he will get an orgasm while talking to me over the phone about our sex! (This sometimes bothers me) I was wondering is he normal???

I also agree with seve, it means that he is quite interested in you. but at the same time excessive sex can result loosing the joy after sometimes.
Yes, he is perfectly normal. Especially if you do not live together, it is quite natural that he can´t get enough of having sex with you and it is so important for him.
The frequency of sexual activity or the desired frequency is very individual and there is no norm. Of course there are some statistical results of research, but it can tell us something only about statistical results, average frequencies of people in population but there are still many people who belong to the above or under average levels. For example, many statistical results show that the average frequency of sex is several times a week - but there were also older couples, ill people and people with dysfunctions or people living in dysfunctional relationships in this sample, so when young (or older as well) couples have sex every day, it can be considered normal.
The ideal situation is when the couple can find their optimal frequency which is satisfactory for both partners. As for my private life, I live with my girlfriend in one household (we´ve been living together for nearly 3 years) and we have sex twice a day and it is OK for both of us.
I really cannot see why your boyfriend should be considered abnormal.
