genital anxiety?

Hi,
5 weeks ago I had protected sex with a stripper. Whilst having sex the condom slipped half down twice although the end of my penis was still covered from what I remember. For the past 3 weeks I having had aching testicle right side. I have been to the the clinic and had urine tests done which came back negative, I also had a weeks worth of doxyciline which are now finished. The ache is still there mainly when sitting. I have been to the doctors and was told it was anxiety but the pain is so real I don't know if I can believe it. I am married and have children and was very close to having a full breakdown for a couple of weeks every time I thought about it.
Do you think I could have caught something or iis this really just in my head?
Thanks very much in advance
