My lesbian sister tried to live a heterosexual lifestyle... she got married... had a daughter. And, struggled throughout her unhappy and unfulfilling 4 year marriage because she was in conflict with her sense of self . She is now and has been with the woman with whom she married 2 years ago (when it was temporarily legal to do so in California)... they've been happily together for 36 years. It's happiness and feeling good about who you are, whether you're heterosexual or homosexual, that counts.
Sorry Ravikiran... I also tried to suppress my homosexuality for three years - in intense therapy. Came from a strong Mormon back ground. It only made me more depressed and literally want to kill myself.... While gay life is NOT easy, it's better to accept who you are, rather than try and force something on you that will eventually cause your emotional destruction.
Hope you work things out.
you cant change your sexuality you can try but it wont work. you need to except the fact that you are gay
