make sure after you are on antibiotics you take a good probiotic the type that has to be refrigerated!!! this is a must to take a probiotic
There is a testing kit that you can get at the drug store that can help you determine what kind of infection you have. It is in the same area where yeast infection treatments are. You take a sample of the discharge and put it on the kit and it will tell you what it is. It will point you in the right direction. You and your ex-boyfriend could have been passing the infection back and forth. The infection that the other posts are referring to is Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. It is extremely serious. I would get the test ASAP and take care of this. You may also need to keep Rephresh on hand. It helps keep the ph balance in your vagina. Good luck!
I do recommend that you check with your doctor . Although your problem is not that complicated but it could progress to infect into your uterus and end up an unfortunate infertility. You will certainly be put under antibiotics dietary. wish you good luck.
Best,
Cyrus
Be sure to be properly diagnosed. If it is BV, you need a full run of antibiotics to get rid of it, and it needs to be gotten rid of before it progresses to a more generalized infection in the pelvic region. (Those can be dangerous to your future fertility.)
definately sounds like bv to me. . . uti would present with frequent urination, pain while urination, pain in kidneys or bladder. . . . more like bv. . . my little sister has had bv more than once and those are her symptoms too
