i really would like to know!

yeast infection symptoms please...
im not sexually active at the moment...not been for 3 months
i always use a condom.
and now i have a fishy odor coming for down there , dryness and very painfull to wash with soap.
ive never had a yeast infection nor a uti ..so i would like to know the difference and how to get rid of them quick.

Oh yeah, also, the vagina is self cleaning so you don't need to be using soap in your vagina.  That can throw off the balance as well.

With a UTI you'll have pain while urinating and oftentimes lower abdomen pain.  Also, yeast infections don't generally have a smell.  It sounds more like a bacterial infection.  Which can happens when the bacterias in your vagina get off balanced.  Check out this website it has a list of symptoms for all the different vaginal infections...
