is this bad?

Hi! I was on the pill for the past 3 years and I just switched to the nuva ring because I wasnt taking my pills regularly.  I started my ring a week and a half after my period ended (my doctor said it was okay)  I took it out exactly 3 weeks later when I was suposed to and I have not gotten my period yet.  I tookit out 4 days ago. I know this isnt a long time and when I was on the pill my period wouldnt come for 3 days after I stopped taking the active pills.  I was told that it should come 2-3 days after the ring was removed and it hasnt so im a little nervous.  I dont know if because this is my first one that my cycle is screwed up or something but I cant find anything online to figure out if this is normal.  I was supposed to use a backup method for the entire month and I only did part of the month, but he did pull out everytime (I know it was stupid and irresponsible but it happened).  Should I be concerned that I havent gotten my period yet or is this normal?
