itchy vagina with yellow discharge

hello dr.s ive been havin this problen lately wich after i finish my period i have an itchy red vagina and yellow discharge which is bothering me alot...i dont wanna go to a dr. cuz i get too embaressed so i was wondering if u can help me? is it fa fungal disease or a bacterial disease ? what kind of medicine should i take? first i thougght it was an allergy from the pads so i changed the brand ,it got a little better and then it was the same again...thank u for your help :)

I am experiencing vaginal itcheness and a yelloWIsh discharge when it dries...when I had my medical examination 3yrs. ago.. it came out that I had Trichomoniasis vaginalis..but medication is not consistent..I stopped taking that med..I had a heavy greenish or yellow discharge with fishy odour..but now...it seems to be light but still itchy..and its odrless...pls help tnx

Definate yeast infections and you will need to abstain from any sexual intercourse until you go to the gyne and get antibiotics. Yellow discharge means infection and this infection can be transmitted to your partner, so with that said, must go to gyne, diagnose, treatment. Make sure to finish the antibiotics and you will be fine. Good luck.

thx ava for ur help..i do keep it dry and clean and it also comes and goes..am using an anti fungal cream now hoping it might get better..hopefully :)

You are best asking a doctor but it sound like it will clear up on its own. Best keeping it dry and clean. It may be frictional? If so moisterise, with a special kind or cocobutter. May be yeast infection so look that up. hope this is helpful.
