painful sex

by kd007, Aug 12, 2008 05:58PM
hello, this is a two part question. first of all when i was 16 i had sex for the first time. it was painful buti thought this was normal. i then tried again but it was still painful. the penis wouldnt even go in very far. i wasnt sure if my hymen broke. i then went for a pap test. everything went fine, although it was a bit painful. question 1. does the hymen have to be broken in order for one to have a pap test? it has been 5 years since i first attempted having sex and i am still unsuccessful. is it possible that my boyfriend's penis is too big? question2. is there something i can do to actually have sex!? it is getting frustrating.

1. No.
2. Go to the gynecologist and get an exam. You might have an abnormally thick hymen that needs to be "surgically" broken by a doctor. Sometimes, even if the hymen is broken, pieces of it can still be in your vagina causing an abstruction.
Best advice is to go to a doctor to make sure everything is alright.
