thnx for that info they don't tingle or itch at all, and i did speak to my boyfriend, and explained about the spots and yes i did ask him if he had slept with anyone else!! he was a little offended but understood my concerns an was really ok about it, he says he'll come to the docs an is very sure it won't be an STD as niether of us has been playing away, and as u were saying about the tinling there is nothing. i do say i feel loads better coming on here an talking to him too , thnx for ur help xxx

been here and done this more time than i can count!  do you shave? are they close together like a patch? do they itch, burn, tingle? the likelihood is slim to known if they don't itch.  heres the thing about herpes which i don't have, but have had enough experiences of maybe's that i have learned a lot about this ugly std.  they come in a patch or rash at first then they kinda go away as if they are getting better then about 2wks or so later it comes back, usually in the same spot, w/ a vengeance.  i ended up having the shingles, which is the same thing as chicken pox it just come back in adults as the shingles.  the systems are similar to herpes b/c they are all in the same family.  the best advice i can give you speaking from experience dont confront him until you know what it is!  i ended up looking really stupid and it put a damper on the relationship b/c my confrontation just screams "I DON'T TRUST YOU!"  be patiant and just keep watch on it.  most herpes outbreaks tingle a whole lot and itch so if you don't have these symptoms then don't worry.  hope this helps
