sex drive

Does anyone here know anything about loosing your sex drive when recovering from alcohol? I tried the addiction forums but didn't get much help. My bf is in recovery and has no sex drive it's been 6 months. Someone said something to him about it being called "the wall"? Any help would be great!!

Hi there. I just read the above post about low sex drive. I know you posted this awhile ago, but I too am having the exact same problem with my boyfriend. He too is an alcoholic he quite drinking june 6th'09. We had the BEST sex life you could imagine while he was drinking. And now he just never wants it. Ive gone through all the emotions of thinking its me, but he assures me its not. We are very close and comfortable about sharing our feelings and truly believe he would tell me. He too is very frustrated about it. I thought Id check in with you and see if your boyfriends sex drive has gotten any better??? Im going crazy and Im sure you can relate. Take care!
