testicle pain

my left testicle was hurting but i did not think of it as a problem since the pain wasnt much , and after masterbation (masturbation) now my whole left pelvic region hurts on closer examination i noticed a growth on my left testicle . what should i do ? can a visit to the family doctor be of any use ? i am afraid of answering some embaressing questions as im 18 .please help me out .

I would suggest you see a doctor. I can tell you that my husband had the same problem a couple of years ago. He did go to our family doctor, but then was referred to a urologist. It turned out the he actually had 5 cysts. Once they were removed her was back to normal. Let me assure you that you will not be ask questions other then medically. You do not have tell anyone what you were doing when you found the growth and for the record, cysts are extremely common and generally tend to be the problem.
