throat infection and oral sex on female

I recently gave oral sex to a female I didn't know. I did it for about a half hour, vigorously,
She was extremely clean, no odor or taste or discharge. I am male.
The next morning I had very sore throat, redness, no white spots.  Very swollen Uvula. A little
mucus in my throat but not much.
Went to doctor. It is not strep. They cultured it and it is negative. I took Zithromycin (zpack).
After a week it is mostly gone.
Could it be yeast?

I highly doubt that you would see symptoms of thrush the next day. I think your throat was very sore from performing oral sex for so long.
If you're still worried your Dr can do a throat culture for yeast.

She could be clean as can be , but yeast can still be an issue for a female..  sex is a no no while she gets it cleared up.. They use diflucan  for 7 to 10 days. Until it is completely gone. You could have possibly got a form of yeast called Thresh that has to be dealt with meds prescribed by the Dr..   good luck  -- The woman probably had no ideal she had it a unless she started having some pain in the vaginal area later on..

What did he do for it?  Did it happen right away?
Obviously she seemed squeeky clean or I wouldn't have done it.
How did he get rid of it?

I didn't ask either but I will ask her. My wife used to get them but not for years. I have never had oral. Would it happen that fast?
I told him why I might but didn't ask about yeast and apparently the culture doesn't test for it.
If she was any cleaner she would have had to douche with bleach but she could be a carrier.

Well -- that could be possible - it is something that I watch out for with my wife when she has a yeast infection .. The female that received your pleasuring , might not have known about having a yeast infection.. I know it is difficult to ask , but have you ask her?  BTW what did the DR say about a possible yeast infection or did you tell him your concern?? My thoughts, ojsam

I had a buddy in the army that got a yeast infection performing oral on a woman.  It could have been .  You would not have gotten std symptoms so quickly.
