recently had recived unprotected philatio sex from a massuse, only that, and now panicing about stds?

any wise words?

to follow up,

went to gum clinic, they took urine and blood samples, initally tested them, the nurse said there where no threads?, so is this a good sign?, i'll have to wait for 3 weeks for results, was given 1g of azithromycin as a precaution.

really worried about herpes, full of information though this site is, it is still somewhat unclear as to the likelyhood of contracting this at the reciving end of fellatio

how would this manifest? when people say flu-like symptoms, how long do these usally last?, do they come with the blisters/rash or precede a outbrake?

You are right to worry! Anytime you have unprotected sex, you run the risk of catching an STD. The clinic should have pamphlets about all STD's and the symptoms. Some STD's have no symptoms at all and can only be detected by getting tests run, so you did the right thing by going to the Dr.

If your test results come back negative, DO NOT make that mistake again! You may have your 1st "get out of jail free card" but next time you may not be so lucky! I hope it turns out okay for you...
