virgin and need help

Hi! Ive been married for about 2 years and im still a virgin. We have tried intercourse but my husband doesnt know what to do and also i get quite scared of the pain that intercourse might cause. Due to this my husband doesnt even bother trying anymore. What should i do? Is there anything i could take to help me relax or help my husband with some guidance? We would like to have a child but my fear discourages him to even try anymore. Please help!

Hi,

I'm sorry you are having to deal with this; 2 years is a long time to live with anxiety over sexual intercourse for a married couple.  Fortunately, there are ways to resolve this issue that you and your husband are having.

First, you should seriously consider speaking with your doctor or gynecologist about your anxiety (fear) of pain related to intercourse.  Doctors are usually very helpful and sympathetic to your needs, and they can give you expert advice in this area.  Speak openly with your doctor about your fear, just like you have shared here, and I am positive that you will be able to resolve any problems you are facing...

Second, I suggest that you and your husband, go online and research sex manuals and/or instructional videos on sexual techniques. There are literally dozens of manuals and videos to research on this very subject. These are not pornography; they are to be used as informational guides for people seeking advice and instructions on sexual intimacy...

As far as relaxing goes, that will come in time once you and your husband have become more familiarized with each other intimately (on a sexual level).  The sooner you face this issue, the less it will be a problem for both of you...
Good Luck
