I'd say slipping off and spillage is more of a risk than breaking.

In addition to putting it on right, hang on tight when pulling out.

you can do a lot of things to prevent a condom from breaking: Besides putting on a condom properly, use a condom that fits well (not too tight) and use water-based or silicone-based lubricants. If you have used massage oil during foreplay, clean your hands  be careful that the oil and the latex are not getting in contact.

It's hard to say if a comdom is going to break or not I have had my husband try many diffrent types of comdoms and over half of the kinds have broke.. Condoms arn't as safe as every body thinks. But it is good to practice safe sex! Just check it often and pull out before for get off even if you are wearing a condom always be safe!!

ive never had a condom break in a year and a half of sex...  i use trojan-enz lubricated condoms its a light blue box

It depends. I guess it's really common. Just put it properly and don't let the air comes in.
