HELP Condom Leaked ?

I just had sex with my girlfriend last sunday, and I'm afraid that the condom may have leaked from the base. Her period is about 2 weeks away, and I think it's already late for her to take plan B pills.

We used a Trojan Ultra-Thin Lubricated condom, and I rolled it all the way to the base before I became totally erect. We then had sex.  After a few minutes, I sat up and examined the condom in the light. The condom was still rolled up to the base, but the condom seemed a little bit inflated, and there was a thin soapy layer of liquid between the condom and my penis. I had not ejaculated, but I was startled by the amount of white stuff inside the condom. The head of the condom, where the ejaculate is caught, was partially filled with white liquid - BUT I THINK THIS MIGHT BE THE LUBRICANT, BECAUSE AN UNUSED CONDOM I UNROLLED OF THE SAME TYPE HAD THE SAME BIT OF WHITE STUFF AT THE TIP. Then we did it again.

I don't know if any of it leaked from the base, because I can't tell the difference between the lube, her wetness, and what might have been my semen.

There were no tears at all on the condom we used.

Here are my questions:

1) How likely is it that I pre-ejacutlated several times, this leaked from the base, and could potentially impregnate my girlfriend?

2) If I did pre-ejaculate, and the semen had to gradually travel from the tip of the condom to the bottom, into my girlfriend's body and up her vagina which is lubricated with spermicidal lubricant, is it likely that the sperm would have been killed by all the lubricant it has to come in contact with?

3) is the spermicide located inside the condom or outside at the tip?

Hi.

Answers to your questions:

1) How likely is it that I pre-ejacutlated several times, this leaked from the base, and could potentially impregnate my girlfriend?

I can't give you statistics; I can, however, tell you that Cowper's Gland secretion (pre-come) can contain millions of sperm, and many women have gotten pregnant from exposure to this fluid, so if any leaked out the bottom of your condom, your girlfriend was exposed to sperm.

Again, you want statistics, and I can't give you any. It MAY be that all the sperm were killed by any spermicidal lubricant on the condom--or maybe not.

3) is the spermicide located inside the condom or outside at the tip?

You'd have to ask the manufacturer this. I don't work for Trojan, so have no idea.

It seems to me like you're trying to get someone (in this case, me) to tell you everything is fine. However, I can't tell you that. What I CAN tell you is that you need to educate yourself further about condom use and about that particular brand. I'd suggest you go to the following site, which has a wonderful section on everything you need to know about condom use:
