Please help: Bruised the head of my penis!

Yesterday while working out at the gym i guess i got distracted while i was using the two dumbells standing up working out my shoulders and as i brought the dumbells back down i accidently clamped the top upper part of the head of my penis (not the pee hole part)

I now have 2 blue/black bumps on it. I was in serious pain and rushed home to put ice on it and after about 20 min it didnt hurt anymore but the bumps/bruises are still there.

Today it doesnt hurt..even if i get a hard on it doesnt hurt but im concerned that i might of did some damage internaly if thats possible? The dark blue/blackish bruise bump hasnt changed since yesterday.

Im 19 years old, circumcised. Is it necessary to go see a doctor for this or will it just heal on its on. wat should i do to help it go away? Keep ice on it? Thanks a lot!

I think you should always see a doctor if you have had a traumatic injury--if only so you don't worry so much. It sounds like you are fine- you have an erection-- if you had really hurt the blood vessels , you would not have been able to do that! The bruises are natural from that kind of injury- and it will take awhile for them to go away-- but it looks like a surface contusion. You are lucky- you need to be careful and protect yourself. Some people wear some support that protects the penis a bit by keeping it out of the way as much as possible. You are fortunate- you had a painful experience but it doesn't sound like it will have permanenet damage. However, there is no way to know this for certain unless you see a physician. Go do that. Put your mind at rest and get solid information.

I bet your fine, bruises take time to heal especially blood blisters from a pinch. I have heard of badly damaged penis, taking on a bit of bend or curve from scar tissue, but you don't sound that injured, easy for me to say ouch. I accidently zipped my sons foreskin in his pj zipper, owch, he was fine.Go to the doctor, you can always laugh about it later, and you will feel better to not worry. If your not that worried and things are working, I bet you will never do that again and be just fine

You're probably fine.  If you experience problems with urination, maintaining an erection, pain during erection (after the swelling goes down for the most part), problems with ejaculation, things of this nature, then I would see a practitioner.  A urologist would be the one to see.

I couldnt imagine the pain you're in.  I dropped a dumbell on my knee before and thought that was bad.  Good luck!
