Vaginal Tear In Strange Place

My boyfriend and I were having sex last night and slipped and he hit the smooth skin below my clitoris and just above the urethral opening. There is now a split in the skin about 1 inch long. It looks like there is another layer of skin under the tear but it's quite open, a little bit more than just a cut. I can't find anything on the internet about a tear in this particular spot so I don't know if it's bad enough to go to the doctor. I'm also not quite sure how to keep it extra clean (more than I usually would)
