Viagra or Herbal..

Hi There, i have suffered for ED for some time now, it comes (sic) and goes...and with me it is more about what is going on in my head, rather than anything physical...
A few years ago when i first got issued with viagra, i tried experimenting with different dosages...and i seemed to be happy with 25mg..higher dosages would work, but it would take me an age to climax..

At the moment the tablet is becoming too expensive for me to purchase (two years ago i could get 4 x100 mg tablets for the prescription charge of

   The trouble is that when you go with a non phramaceutical drug its hard to know what you are getting... there are some Viagra like pills that are made in other countries however- and they are through medical sources-- and cheap. In India, and Mexico, for example, there are local versons that seem to work ( at least my friendws in those countries think they do!). However, getting them in other countries is dicey to say the least, because there is no assurance that you are getting the ' real thing'. Bottom line- is I wish these drugs were cheaper in Europe and the United States, but they are not. One reason: their patent is only exclusive for a specific amount of time and then it can be made into generic-and cheaper- drugs.  So they believe they need to charge their prices while they can , and recoup on successful drugs all the research and development that all drugs, successful and not, require.   Are they making money? Absolutely. Are they making too much money? That is certainly an area for debate. Meanwhile, the best we can do is to get our health care systems to get these drugs for us at the best possible negotiated price.  I wish I had better ideas for you than that-- but unfortunately, the herbal remedies are not clearly competitive.. Some doctors presribe Yohimbe- and you might ask about it. In medical doseage there is some indication it might work. I do not know it's cost in medical offices-- and the Yohimbe you can get in drug stores is not adequate for the use you want to use it for.
That is the only drug I think there is enough science on for me to tell you to look into.
Otherwise, all the other herbal drugs I have heards about, may increase blood flow but do not have a literature that tells me it is a replacement for Viagra or the other erectile dysfunction drugs.
