discharge. wasnt exactly sure where to put this?

I'm pretty sure I get yeast infections quite a lot. Well, its in between. But now, even a hot bath doesn't help as much as it used to for the itching. And the discharge, SMELLS. It's embarrassing and I always make sure I'm okay down there before I have sex with my boyfriend. Does this sound like a yeast infection? I'm going to get it checked out VERY soon, but to ease my mind I'm resorting to this.
*Signs;
-looots of discharge.. but it's kind of watery.
-discharge does smell.
-itches, and when it does itch it itches pretty bad. but it comes and goes, as of right now, I have no urge to itch.
-it DOESNT burn when I urinate, throwing that out there to eliminate some possibilities.
What do you think?

Hi.

Yup. You need to go to your gynecologist or local Planned Parenthood/women's clinic. You  may need a prescription-strength medication.

BTW: always be sure you're very turned on and lubricated before you have any kind of insertive sex. One of the major causes of infection is irritation of those delicate tissues--and that can happen when you get lots of friction without enough lubrication. So remember: you call the shots. No penis-vagina sex before you're ready! Best of luck to you. Dr. J

If you are getting yeast infections quite often, the best thing to do is eat a cup of plain yogurt every day. The bacteria in yogurt kills the yeast. I know that it sounds too easy to work but it does. Also the wearing of tight jeans will cause a yeast infection, because the tight denim will not let you "breathe" But you need to go and get it checked out and make sure that it is yeast. yeast does cause a discharge but it is usually thick and "cheesy" there is also an STD called "trick" the real name is too long to spell this early, that has alot of the same symptoms as a yeast infection or UTI. Good luck
