low ejaculation...why?

by mortuaryguy, Jul 31, 2008 03:23PM
I am a 27/male..quite healthy by doctors standpoint....slightly overweight, but nothing my doctor is concerned about.
My whole "sexual" life, I have had a very low ejaculation...I dont have a problem with reaching orgasm, just being able to produce much.  There are sometimes when I can produce (very small) and at other times nothing at all.
I try to eat healthy, and get plenty of fluids.  I am just nervous, for my future wife and I when we ar ready to have kids.
Any suggestions?  Are there any herbal type vitamins to help?

Hi.

The amount of ejaculation you produce should have little or no effect on your fertility, so stop worrying. When you decide you want children, have a sperm count done. The more sperm you produce, the higher your chances of pregnancy. Herbal supplements do not increase volume of semen and have never been scientifically validated to produce any of their claimed results.

And as you've no doubt discovered, ejaculation quantity isn't related to orgasmic pleasure either. It isn't helpful to put these judgments on yourself. Relax and enjoy your sexuality for what it is: uniquely part of you. Dr. J
