Is it possible to accurately diagnose SHINGLES without any kind of test? I had SHINGLES 6 years ago,a horrible rash and pain around one side of my waist. Last week I went to my doctor with headache and numbness on one side of my head. He immediately told me I had Shingles. I've had no rash this time, just the headache, dizzyness and nausea. I had the Shingles vaccine after my last episode and told my doctor this but he insists I have Shingles again. My head is heavy, it aches, I'm dizzy and nauseated and it feels more like a sinus infection. . . . BUT, I'm not the doctor. I just have doubts.
