Sinus CT Scan Results
Someone help!  I recently had a CT scan of the sinus that indicated an S-shaped curve of the nasal septum which is deviated to the left superiorly.  Petrous carotids protrude into the sphenoid sinus and are covered by a very thin rim of bone.  There is a parial spenoid septum attaching to the left carotid canal.  The impression was a Negative CT scan of the sinuses.  My ENT indicated no follow up and told me my CT scan was normal (???).  The diagnosis he gave me was allergic rhinosinusitis.  Does anyone know what the above means???
