Sinus infection also called sinusitis, is inflammation of the paranasal sinuses that may occur when having an infection, allergy or autoimmune issues. Discuss topics including causes, symptoms and treatments for sinusitis.
I have been suffering from blurry vision and heacaches for a while but since yesterday I have had a really stiff neck and what I can only describe as a feeling of fluid in my neck, just behind my ear lobe.
It doesnt feel like its moving and I cant feel the fluid above my ear also.
How are you? Do you still have the symptoms you mentioned? Sometimes sinus and nasal fluid may reach the middle ear through the eustachian tube connecting the ear to the nasopharynx. This can cause headache, earache or temporary decreased hearing. Treating the infection and congestion usually help provide relief. However, if the symptoms persist especially the stiff neck, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
