22 y/o with itchy moles and looking for advice

by JamesGaffron, May 21, 2009 06:16PM
I've had a couple moles that have been on my body for a long time.  I don't know if they have grown in size or changed in shape or color because I haven't been keeping an eye on them.  However, two of them had at one point been itchy (nearly a year ago now), but they don't itch anymore.  They don't seem very threatening, but I am also not a doctor.

The mole that I am particularly worried about is an abnormal mole, it is not raised but it is right next to my right nipple which I think is causing it to be oddly shaped.  There is a dark brown spot to it, but it seems to be asymmetrical.  The border isn't clear and may be borderless, but because it is so close to the nipple it's hard to tell really.  I have several oddly shaped moles, so it's not very odd for my body.  It's a toss up.

Is itchiness normal in some cases?  If it were a problem case, would the itchiness go away or would it get worse?
