Bump on the top of my head

I have a small bump on the top of my head. I keep scratching it off, but it keeps coming back. When ever I scratch it off there is a small amount of blood, but very little.

These symptoms can be due to a cystic lesion like pilar cyst or a benign growth on the scalp which needs to be ruled out by means of a physical examination and biopsy of the bump skin scrapings.
