A year or so ago, I developed a "growth" on the inner most corner of my eye, near the tear duct. I am a 46 y/o somewhat healthy female, although I am overweight. It started out small, but now it has almost doubled in size. I am concerned that it will continue to grow and possibly interfere with my vision at some point. I have no idea what it is, but everytime I look in the mirror, that is the first thing I see and it is starting to worry me. Thank you for your time.
You can have it checked out by an opthamologist or a dermatologist. Oftentimes these are harmless and they leave them alone unless they distort vission by applying pressure or get in the way of the vision and are not infected. But I'm not a doctor.
