Levulan Kerastick treatment

by Philrob, Nov 02, 2009 04:13PM
Have been told that I was a candidate for Levulan Kerastick treatment for actinic keratoses. Have been treated for many years for sun caused problems, and have had many spots either burned or removed. In my seventies, I have been advised that this treatment would be beneficial. Involves 90 minutes of solution wrapped under a wrap, and then under a blu-light for 17 minutes. Is it worth it? .

Far as I know, actinic keratosis is a precancerous condition. You don't discuss prevention?
