I'm assuming they biopsied the lymph nodes since they removed them? If they didn't mention anything about the Melanoma spreading then you should be fine. Lymph Nodes can enlarge if they are aggravated, such as touching, poking and so on.
I was diagnosed with Melanoma on my back 15 months ago. I had a large excision to remove the Melanoma but ignored my Doctors orders and started poking/feeling of every lymph Node I knew about. This caused several of them to enlarge which panicked my Doctors.
Don't worry about it unless your Doctors give you a reason to worry and for goodness sake PLEASE don't touch, poke or feel your Lymph nodes. Leave that for the Dermatologist. You should be on 3 to 6 month checkups.
