Melanoma on leg?

I'm a 24 year old Caucasian male. I think I might have Melanoma skin cancer on my right leg, close to my ankle. I began to notice my skin change to a slightly darker color about 10 years ago. I have never seen a doctor about this. After recently being told that it looks like Melanoma, I looked up some picture on the Internet and was shocked at the similarities. What do you think?? I've linked to a few pictures below:

It's been three years. Just wanted to let everyone know that it's only blood stuck in the skin tissue, said the doctor. The darker color has gotten much lighter now. no idea how it started to begin with.

I also want to add that I found by more research that it might be called "squamous cell" cancer.
