Mole came back Basal Cell

I had a mole removed last week under my right eye which was always in my field of vision when I smiled.  It was red, round, and a little smaller than an eraser.  There were no jagged edges and it never bled or anything.  Doctor said it was definately nothing but sent me to an optometrist because it was near the eye area.  She felt it was harmless but sent it out to be analyzed.  It came back with microscopic amount of Basil Cell Carcinoma and being only 35 this really scares me.

The Optomotrist then called the pathologist and he said either we could keep an eye on it or go in to make sure we got everything.  I opted to have her go in again which is scheduled in about 5 weeks.  In the meantime I have made an appointment with a dermotologist to have my my whole body examined.  This Appointment is in 3 weeks.

I'm not sure if I should have the optometrist finish this jobnear the eye or have the dermatologist take over.  I am also afraid that when they go in they still wont get it all.

I am quite apprehensive about this and am worrying all the time.  Can anyone give me advice on this?

    Thanks

This can be easily removed.  I had a basal cell tumour on my nose removed.  Go through your dematologist no the optomitrist.  Since mine was on my nose...and yours is on your eye, I would ask about Mohs surgery.  That is what I had.  It is a microscopic surgery that is almost 100% effective and minimal scarring as only the affected tissue is removed.  I think any cancer is a big deal and should be dealt with.
