Mole on face

I've had this mole on my face for as long as I could remember. I saw my family doctor Friday who wanted to remove it then, but couldn't because of my insurance. Reason being Monday morning it started bleeding out of nowhere after my shower. Then again on either Tuesday or Wednesday morning. It scabbed over & quit after that but now that the scab is gone the mole itself is lighter in color and seems a smidge bigger than before. Same shape. Still asymetrical. But I've done a lot of research and have convinced myself its melenoma. Its really freaking me out, I can't enjoy ANYTHING, because its on my mind CONSTANTLY. Im actually covered in stress hives because I am so scared about it ( maybe a little dramatic, yes but I've convinced myself I'm dying.)  So my question is basically does this sound like possible melanoma? Or am I just freaking myself out?

If you're so nervous I would definitely get it removed and biopsied.  It isn't normal for moles to randomly bleed.
