Hey,
My husband seems to be having the same issues as you. My husband as been dealing with this problem since he had surgery on his colun 1 year ago. He has tried everything from badidine to neosporine and baby powder. It seems the neosporin keeps it to most, it helps relieve some pain but they are not able to close. The baby powder does keep it dry but the powder gets in the sores causing more pain. The doctor told us the same thing "keep that area dry" but we dont know what else to do. Every time we have went to the doctor or ER they just want to test him for STD's or something. That is not what he has. I just dont know what to do for him. He is in so much pain. He has started walking funny and said his testicles are sticking to his legs where his sores are at. What can I do to help him?
Yes, make sure your getting enough vitamins and, also if you want to keep it dry, just throw some baby powder on it, because baby powder will soak up the moisture and keep them dry as hell, Hope this helped.
Assuming that your doctor has taken cultures and blood tests to eliminate Genital Herpes; have you considered L-lysine, Vitamin A, Cod Liver Oil; could this be a virus, then maybe Probiotics may help, etc., etc.??

If your doctor can't find anything, have you visited a Urologist? Remember all doctors are not created equal....some are dumber than others.. You KNOW something isn't right, so don't accept the brush-off of "just keep it dry." ("if it falls off, come back in")
If you want to keep the area dry, apply pure Corn Starch ...it'll be DRY!!!!!
Good luck!!
