Overnight appearance of odd red spot on my shin

During a hotel stay three days ago, I woke up with two itchy red bumps--appeared to be bites with tiny whiter center--but the next day, Monday, I woke up with a red circular spot on the front of my leg about the size of the end of a pencil eraser.  It does not look like the other two bumps, and it doesn't itch.  It isn't completely flat, and in the last eight hours or so, it seems to have become a bit more raised, maybe as if it has something in it...  Is it possible for skin cancer to erupt so suddenly?  Could it be some other type of bite?  I have no other bites and the hotel was very clean, so it doesn't seem like bedbugs... I have had basal cell carcinoma on my arm and nose but those were there for ages before I had them removed.  I am going to the doctor anyway, but I would love to know what you think this could be...

No it's not possible for skin cancer to erupt so suddenly.

It could be an allergy to new soap or washing powder used at the hotel.

Watch it for 2 weeks and if getting worse or not going away then see a doctor.

Take care
