Skin abrasions

Sorry to intrude, but I know my problem is not cancer, but I did not see a "skin condition" category.

Now, for my problem:

I've been prone to abrasions and cracking on fingers (usually my two first fingers - next to my thumb) that will simply not go away.  They also have a tendency to peel.  Healing of scrapes and slight bruises - which once healed rather quickly - now seemingly takes forever.  I've tried anti-bacterial (Muprirocin) and anti-fungal (Naftin) prescription medications, both without success.  What would you recommend?

I would suggest you also get checked for general health complaints like diabetes. It probably is fungal but slow healing probably warrants a full check-up.

Take care.
