black dot inside mole/freckle
I have several new tan/light brown color moles. The doctor checked them a year ago and said they were fine. Now I noticed that a black dot developed inside one of them. The whole thing is 2.5 mm. and flat. Since it's considered to be a change, I was worried, but melanoma guidelines always mention pincil eraser size, 6 mm. This is really confusing. Should I get my lesion checked? Can cancer be that tiny? Or I just shouldn't worry if it's so much smaller than 6 mm.
Thanks for your time!!!
