couldnt find topic area but question on scabes if anyone could please help me

my mother works at a nursing home and there was an out break of scabes (body lice) she told me maybe about a week ago about it saying that it doesnt show up for two weeks once it has found hosts and you are contagious the whole time even when you dont know you have it. well i live here with her, we dont share clothes or anything like that and i rarely ever sit on our couch...since she has told me i havent even kissed her goodbye on my way out the door. what are my chances of catching this from her? grant it we have used the same towels sat in the same computer chair before she found out about the out break. please please can someone help me her job cant do anything for me just her any info would help thank you
