If  irregular new moles, at times with different colors,  appear every month or two and then disappear after a few days is this short life evidence that there is no melanoma? They resemble my many age spots which unfortunately do NOT disappear. ( I'm 84)

Hello,
Melanomas and moles do not persist for such a short time. Such a rash which appears and disappears is mostly due to hives. However the next time when these marks appear you should get them evaluated and checked from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
