sun exposure= pre cancerous?

by ntsai, Jun 07, 2009 12:47AM
I just recently got a lot of sun exposure and while I was careful to apply sunscreen (SPF 70 UVA/UVB), I missed a spot and got a terrible burn.  I'm concerned because the burn is located in a sensitive area that rarely gets sun exposure (just slightly below cleavage area). The burn was so bad that it's discolored (pink and tan/brown) and the peel revealed pink sensitive skin.  I've never been burned in this area before, and now I'm concerned that I'll get skin cancer.  What can I do now that the damage has been done, to minimize the development of something cancerous?  Are there any warning signs that indicate something precancerous?
