white spots on face??

Hi...I am a 13 year old girl and I am suffering from a whit spot on my face for a couple of months now. I think it may have been caused by the excessive amount of sun that I have had. I need help taking this white spot off, But it does not itch or burn, it is just there on my face. If you know anyway to take this white spot off my face please help
