Is there a cure for sleep apnea? Surgery..... my husband sleeps with the machine and still wakes tired

The only known cure is a tracheotomy, where a breathing tube is placed below your voicebox. If your husband is not benefiting from CPAP, it's possible that it's not being used effectively. Talk to your sleep doctor about optimizing CPAP, as well as to consider other options.

I read somewhere in the web that in UK there is a specialist clinic
which undertakes laser operation of 15 minutes only, while the full
investigation etc might take hours, and get a complete cure.
The charges range from BSP 1500.00 or so and a night in the
Sleep lab.
This is new.  Some tissues are eliminated and the breathing
muscles are  made to grow back stronger?
