results from sleep trial

I recently had a home trial for sleep apnea. The nurse I phoned said that i snored very lightly! and I had five incidents where the breathing was 'compromised' but not enough to warrant a machine to help. I seen my GP and he was saying results showed there was five incidents where my sats dropped to 88%.

Still have several nights of very scary -  waking up gasping for air

Does this mean I have it or is it too good a result to worry. The night of the trial was one of the best i have had for a while :(  - so not showing the worst i have.

Sometimes the numbers just don't quality for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea, but you'll have severe symptoms. For now, try eating 3-4 hours before bedtime (same for alcohol), lose weight if you're overweight, and don't sleep on your side. If your problem continues, besides CPAP, oral appliances may be a good option to keep your airway open at night.
