Nightmares

by becca101, Oct 09, 2009 05:41PM
Hello,
Not quite sure if this is where I should be posting this but I imagine you know more than me.
I have been having terrible nightmares for quite some time now. I had such a bad dream last night that I was just terrified to sleep tonight. My dad used to suffer from nightmares but I'm not sure I can get over mine as I have had some bad experiences in life that seemed to link to my dream last night. I just wanted to ask, does anyone know anything about why I would be having these dreams and what I could possibly do about them other than seeing the doctor as I am a bit too embarrassed.
I would appreciate all of the help
Thanks

Nightmares are not something that I address. Perhaps you can post your question to Dr. Jacobs in the insomnia forum. There's no need to be afraid or embarrassed to mention your problems to your doctor.
