Sleeping paralysis

by clare7, Nov 05, 2009 05:17PM
my husband has sleep paralysis. he hasnt been diagnosed but he has all the symptoms. He has had OBEs every sense the age of 6 and he has really bad migranes. the one he has now has lasted for almost 2 weeks. But back to the sleep paralysis, he has it 1 to 5 times a night. Some nights he doesnt have it at all. When he has one he looks like hes asleep haveing a bad dream. his breathing patter goes up and down. sometimes it will just stop for 15 sec. He says when he does this hes trying to get my attention. when this is happening he has dreams at the same time. Sometimes there is someone choking him, one time when he was haveing one of these attacks he said that he seen a man walk up to his side of the bed and kneel next to him. he said that you could tell the man was burned in a fire. his whole body was black and still smoking. My husband said that when he kneeled next to the bed you could see the white of his eyes. My husband said that when he went to grab my arm and wake me up to get my attention the burned man grabed his arm and held it down just looking at him.

Another time He had an OBE and the sleeping paralysis at the same time. He said that he walked in to the living room and seen a little girl sitting on her knees holding her stomach, blood was everywhere jon her and the floor. She was holding her organs in and bleeding everywhere. The very creeping and funny part of it all is that my husbands boss's wife is dieing and she said she has seen the same little girl in her house. Explain that.

Is this the extent of Sleeping Paralysis. Is this the kind of stuff that happens to people with Sleep Paralysis?

From what you're describing, it's difficult to tell if he's suffering from true sleep paralysis or obstructive sleep apnea. You need to see a sleep doctor to figure it out.
