Trouble breathing after sleeping!!

by cabbose, Aug 08, 2009 09:46PM
I am a 17 year old female i am very inactive and I weigh 236 I have been having problems for the past month. I go to sleep i am fine but when I wake up I cant take a deep breath without my lungs being in pain its like a vibrating sensation or think about two stickers together and peeling them apart that's what my lungs feel like or at least that place in my chest. It also hurts very much and forces me to cough like if you breathed in some chemical and started coughing. I don't cough up phlegm though so I cant figure this out after a few deep breaths i manage to get back to normal I can also breath very short breaths and eventually it will go away. I am worried that this could get worse what could it be??? is it my weight because I am a little young to be having problems like breathing???
THANKYOU

It's difficult to say without examining you. You should see either your medical doctor or a pulmonologist. Acid reflux is known to sometimes reach the lungs, especially if you have sleep apnea.
