I have awoken a couple of times and not been able to breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor. It feels as though I can't get any air at all. It sort of feels like my windpipe is collapsed maybe. I can't really explain it. Eventually, like 5 seconds, it comes back. It also did it just a moment ago after i coughed. Any suggestions.
I'd bring it up to your physician just in case.
I would recommend that you consult your physician and get a sleep study done, to diagnose or rule out sleep apnea.
I agree with Steph4302, that the apnea while you are awake is a bit confusing.
Was this apnea after the coughing a single incidence, or you do get it frequently ?
